Is There Such A Thing As Free Web Traffic?
from:If you surf the internet you will often come across the term ‘free web traffic’. It sounds really nice and attractive. You cannot deny that really as it has the ‘free’ factor attached to it. But there are two questions here that need to be answered. What is free traffic and if it does really exist?
With the term free traffic we refer to strategies and plans that can generate traffic without spending any money at all, or when you get the desired traffic without paying any traffic dealer or trader – practically without hiring professionals and companies to do the job. However charming this term is though, it could not be further from the truth. There is no serious professional that will tell you that you can get free traffic for your online business.
First of all, generating and monetizing traffic is something that cannot happen from one day to another. It takes time and effort, and usually a few months pass before you see some serious traffic coming your way, provided that you have done some persistently good job the previous time. And what does this good job mean? It means that you provide the potential customers and clients with some value and value is something that by default cannot be completely free. Even if we don’t talk about spending money in order to pay someone to write something for you but you do it yourself, you will spend some serious time to either write a blog or article, advertise your work, and make yourself known. Only if you consider your time worthless, traffic can be really free.
What is true is that you have the option to choose how much money you will spend in order to generate traffic. Spending too much money is definitely optional, as you can choose not to hire expensive professionals and outsourcers and do the SEO job yourself, or hire someone for little money. Dedicating time, especially if you do
everything yourself, is not really optional. In this case you have to invest a part of your everyday life in order to plan and launch a marketing campaign that will make your company known and will bring traffic and potential customers to your business. The harder you work, the better the results.
In any case, you will have to spend some money to have a domain name and server support, buy some software that will help you with a marketing strategy and maybe something that will keep track of emails and correspondence. Remember that in order to make money, you need to spend some money. The amount is up to you, but do not start your business believing in fairy tales.
