Increase your profits with Bonuses, Freebies, and Trials
from:Even paying customers appreciate a freebie now and then and by going the extra mile and throwing in a little extra, you can increase your Internet marketing revenue.
Bonuses
How many times have your purchased something knowing you were going to get something free along with the purchase? Didn’t you feel a little extra excitement? You may have even congratulated yourself for making such a good deal. Offering bonuses is a smart Internet marketing strategy that is regularly used by successful Internet marketers because it works.
Be sure when you do offer bonuses that they are useful. Don’t just throw something into the pile that you weren’t able to sell and call it a bonus. Disappoint your customers and they won’t be customers for long. Remember the old rule of thumb: Underpromise and Overdeliver. Give your customers more than what they are expecting and they will be return customers. Disappoint them even once and they will be history.
Freebies
Another smart Internet marketing strategy is to give your potential customers something for free without them having to buy anything at all. Everybody likes to get something for nothing once in a while and if you impress your website visitors with a freebie, they are likely to return to make a purchase. Again, even if it is free, make sure it is something of value. A large part of successful Internet marketing is building relationships with your potential customers so that they will trust you and become loyal customers.
Free Trials
Not all Internet marketing efforts will be appropriate to offer free trials to but for the ones that are, this is an excellent Internet marketing strategy. Free trials let your customers try out the product before they spend any money. Then if they like the product, say, after a month, if they want to continue to use it, they would either purchase it outright or pay a monthly free.
Many software applications work well for this Internet marketing technique. Users can use the software for a certain period of time, after which, they must either purchase the software or stop using it. In addition, websites that offer memberships also work well with this strategy. Dating sites use this strategy often to bring in new customers.
Offering your customers and potential customers something for nothing may be the perfect way for them to give you something – their money!
